Our screening consists of a complete physical exam along with the necessary medical respirator clearance and respirator mask fit testing, aligned with the Cal-OSHA requirements. However, the most important part of the Cholinesterase monitoring services is the monitoring of your staff’s Cholinesterase blood levels.

Below, you’ll find the process that will take place once your staff members come in for Cholinesterase Monitoring Service:

• Complete the Health and Respirator Questionnaire: Your employee will fill out a comprehensive questionnaire to assess health and respiratory needs.

• Visit our clinic: The employee will come to our clinic to obtain the Pulmonary Function Test and Respirator Mask Fit-Testing.

• Blood work at Quest Diagnostics: Your employee will get their blood work done at our certified lab services (Quest Diagnostics) to establish the baseline of Cholinesterase levels. Note: Your staff cannot be exposed to pesticides 30 days prior.

• Physical exam: The employee will come to our clinic for a physical exam with our physician to review any health concerns.

• First Cholinesterase blood test: Within 14 days of the baseline blood draw, your employee will undergo their first Cholinesterase blood test. Our physician will review the results and provide you with your staff’s health status.
